Ready 4 Recognition conducts legal education sessions on Indigenous constitutional recognition in the Canberra community.

Our legal education sessions aim to educate members of the community about the legal technicalities of constitutional recognition in an interactive, concise and informative manner.

10487377_265623526975272_6732175761661030832_nOur sessions are highly interactive and run free of charge. A normal session is approximately one hour in length, however due to time and resource restrictions we do ask that you request a session at least a month in advance.

Our sessions cover topics such as:

  • Historical background of constitutional recognition
  • Proposed changes
  • Why does constitutional recognition matter?
  • Alternatives to constitutional recognition

Sessions are commonly held in libraries, schools, colleges and universities – if you are interested in Ready 4 Recognition conducting a community legal education session at your organisation, please contact us at ready4recognition.lrsj@anu.edu.au
